Namdroling Monastery ‘The Golden Temple’ of Karnartaka

The founding stone for the monastery was founded by the 3rd Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche (1932-2009) on 31st July, 1963. Dalai Lama (the highest spiritual leader and head of Tibet) visited the monastery to consecrate it and bestowed the name Namdroling.

Lucknow: The city of Nawabs

Standing 60 feet tall in the heart of Lucknow, the Rumi Darwaza is a monumental gateway built in the 18th century by the fourth Nawab of Awadh, Asaf-ud-daula (r. 1775-1797).
